Join us on Sunday, February 15 from 12-3pm for the Sunnyside Field Launch of Samantha Kattan's Campaign for Assembly District 37! We'll be talking to our neighbors about Samantha's vision for a Queens with affordable housing, universal childcare, free and reliable buses, fully-funded public schools, good union jobs, and more.
Samantha Kattan is a housing organizer and researcher, daughter of immigrants, and a working mother. She wants to fight to tax the rich to fund the programs that working class New Yorkers need—from dignified, affordable housing, to truly universal childcare, fully-funded public schools.
Samantha has spent her career fighting for stronger tenant protections, as well as fighting to expand opportunities to create social housing. She has been to Albany many times as an organizer, alongside hundreds and sometimes thousands of other tenants, and she would be proud to return as an Assemblymember who would be continuing the fight for housing justice.
The exact meet up location will be announced shortly.
